I picked one of these sets up on a Gold Box special for much less than Amazon's standard price, figuring that I couldn't go wrong with such a bargain price. When it arrived, I was dismayed by the amount of packaging it came in -- a huge display box with plenty of plastic dividers and so forth. As I unpacked the pieces I noticed how flimsy the items were. Many have threaded pieces made of brittle plastic -- one (the fishing rod) broke as I was assembling it.
I decided to send it back to Amazon for a refund, but they only provided me a $5.00 allowance for return postage. Due to the bloated size of the box and packaging, it would have cost me about $15.00 to send back, along with a trip to the post office, so I ended up just throwing the whole thing in the trash. Don't waste your money on this dud!
