$ Wii LAN Adapter

First -- the negative review is because the unit stopped working -- I received exactly what I ordered and it worked well with my wii -- I purchased the unit to watch Netflix on my TV through the wii.



I don't know if you can only use the Nintendo created LAN adaptor with the wii as they say or if this was a poorly made unit. However, it simply stopped working after 30 days. I stopped using the unit one night and went to use it again two nights later and it was completely broken -- no power, no light, nothing. There were no visible defects with the unit, I hadn't misused it, I am the only person who uses it and have no pets who could have chewed the wire or anything.



Either way I wanted to insure that anyone else thinking about purchasing this item knew about my experience -- I may just be bad luck on my part -- but just in case.

Did not work with my Wii. Spent an hour trying to set it up and it just kept beeping "testing connection" with no result. I couldn't even get it to reboot without unplugging. Nintendo makes it hard to set up internet for LAN users. I opened up all the ports on my router and it still didn't work.



I guess I won't be playing online or buying from their Wii store. Too bad for you Nintendo
