This really is great addition to the Wii Fit, it would just be nice if it worked properly. As previous reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't always recognize your steps, and the weight is at least 10 pounds off. Unfortunately I don't have any poker chips to see if that fixes the problem. Just seems like this should have been caught during testing. But from what I've read the other step platforms available have the same problem. Knowing this beforehand, I didn't see a reason to pay more for the other brand.
