I also purchased the Wii Resort and a pair of the Motion Plus add-ons and at first they worked pretty well and I thought...Cool item...then the batteries wore down and the re-calibration became a nuisance.
I tried new batteries first and then I bought the rechargeable batteries and still I have the same problem. I read on line what might be a cure for this and tried what was suggested to no avail. I hate to call the so-called "TECH SUPPORT" because well...they talk to you like you are stupid. Maybe they know we are stupid for calling them and thinking we are going to find a solution from them. Not gonna happen! The Techie told me to do exactly what I had already tried, she gave me no new ideas to try. Now my Wii Resort disc sets in a pile of unused games next to my Wii System. This purchase was a big waste of my time and money. You cannot play Resort without the MotionPlus control...bummer.
