I may be alone, but I don't think the Wii has made shooters really work yet. I've tried a few and even with a zapper, it's just not a good gaming experience in my opinion. If you love shooters, I personally think you're going to have to retrograde to a PS2 or shell out the money for an Xbox 360 or PS3.
THAT SAID, the Link Crossbow Game is fantastic! This game alone (included with the zapper) is worth paying $20 for the zapper package. For some reason the zapper and this game just work very well together. I know the game might sound kind of cheesy, but I am a die-hard shooter player and I have a blast on this thing! Even better, my wife and all of my friends who have tried it love it, too. My wife and I have had a hard time finding a Wii game that we can both enjoy and be challenged by, at least on some level. This game fit the bill.
I will never buy another shooter on the Wii, but I am more than happy to pay $20 and keep the zapper around just for this game!
