I have to say that this is the best Harvest Moon that I ever played. It has all that made famous the series (Farming, falling in love, childs, animals, etc) but with a nice twist with all the rainbows and the mother tree.
The graphics is not the best in the system, but it has all the spirits of the series.
About the story you can choose if you want to only grow your crops and not taking care of the mother tree (Not Recommended) but you can do it.
But nothing is perfect so, the game has an interface that could be improved and the NPC (Not Playing Characters) could have more dialogue, it come repetitive too fast. I recommend to use a classic controller to play it because the motion controller need more work on it, the response is not good enough. But overall is a great game, if you enjoyed the previous harvest moon you will enjoy this one but do not expect to have big changes.
So I can assure that you will have good fun but probably like other simulator games this one will become repetitive quite fast, so I recommend that try to follow the plot and restore the mother tree to have a goal to follow and not get bored so fast.
