It was a great camera while it lasted But that was not very long. Within about a month, when I tried to use the zoom lens, it would begin to zoom in, but then the camera would shut off. A few weeks later, the "eye lids" that are supposed to protect the lens broke, The bottom one dropped into the open position, even when the camera was off, and then the upper lid would droop down and partially cover the lens when taking pictures.
The biggest issue I have with the camera is that it is power hungry. At first, I thought it was draining the batteries and I'd have to take lots of extras with me to keep it operational. But then I bought a battery tester and started checking the "depleted" batteries, and they tested in the high range. I'd guess that they were only 10% drained when the camera would stop working. I found that I could take the "dead" batteries and put them into my Sanyo camera, and I could easily shoot another hundred pictures with them.
Finally, the camera just died. The lights turn on and the lens tries to open, but the viewing screen doesn't light up at all. And it's not worth the cost of the repairs. Rather pathetic for a camera that was less than a year old, never dropped or abused, and has not a scratch on it!
Don't waste your money on this expensive fishing weight!
And while we're on the subject: Kodak has their photo-management program on a disc that comes with the camera. It wants to take over full control of all your photos. It is slow and counter-intuitive. I finally became so exasperated with it that I had to delete it from my computer. Pretty sad for a company whose name is synonymous with photography.
