I gave thins item 2 stars because it looks nice and is ergonomic, but it is still a poor quality item.
First the joystick is junk, it is not sensitive at all, it is either on or off, which poses a huge problem if your trying to aim at something in a game. Based on my use of this controller I suspect this is a problem with all of the controllers of this model.
Also when you press right on the joystick it will release any buttons being pressed (not allowing a charachter to strife to the right), this is a problem that developed after about six hours of gameplay. I tried taking the batteries out for a little bit and trying again. It worked for about a minute, but then the problem persisted. Right about this time the controller decided to randomly press buttons. I tried taking the batteries out again, and the problems just got worse.
The overall feel of the controller is cheap. Obviously I returned it. I decided to go with the wired nintendo brand GC controller with an extension cord instead of another third party wireless controller. I'm not really a huge gamer, I bought this controller for the sole purpose of playing "Zelda: Ocarina of Time" on the Wii (Zelda was my whole reason for buying a Wii in the first place), and I stopped playing because this controller was too frustrating.
It's a good thing Amazon has a spectacular return policy. Frankly if you choose this item you'll probably need it. I would recommend saving the time and energy and just going with a nintendo brand controller. Sure a wireless controller would be nice, but it would need to work.
